About Epitalon
Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is a synthetic tetrapeptide inspired by Epithalamine, a pineal gland extract isolated at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. It has accumulated a preclinical literature covering telomerase activation, telomere length, circadian regulation and expression of genes linked to cellular senescence. Each 10 mg vial is synthesized by solid-phase Fmoc chemistry, purified to ≥99% by HPLC and lyophilized under inert atmosphere. A lot-specific Certificate of Analysis accompanies every shipment.
Mechanism of action
Stimulates telomerase expression and modulates the pineal–pituitary axis to study cellular senescence and circadian rhythms.
