About TB-500
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to an active region of Thymosin β4, a protein naturally present in nearly all animal cells. Widely used in preclinical research, it is studied for its effects on the migration of endothelial cells and keratinocytes, the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) and the regeneration of muscle, tendon and cardiac tissue. Each 10 mg vial is synthesized by solid-phase Fmoc chemistry, purified to ≥99% by HPLC and lyophilized under inert atmosphere. A lot-specific Certificate of Analysis accompanies every shipment.
Mechanism of action
Binds G-actin to regulate cytoskeletal polymerization, promoting cell migration, angiogenesis and tissue repair processes.
